Light.wav 2019 Fundraiser Event, Friday, June 21st

This is a Fundraiser Event on June 21st to raise funds for the Light.wav main event on July 19-20, 2019. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help for artist materials and fees, paying operating costs such as AV equipment rentals, hiring vendors/technicians, build materials and support for installations, staff and any unexpected costs we might incur for main Light.wav event. Fundraiser event is one night only, but you have advance days to donate at different tiers. Come get a preview of the new space June 21st and get a taste of what art and music is to come in July!

June 15th-16th, 2018
is a 2-day digital media art showcase fusing art and technology through light, space and sound. Both nights will have live performances, we’ll transform an empty space into what can be described as a “modern-day dreamscape” where attendees will find themselves immersed in a sensory experience.

Light.wav is a platform for multidisciplinary artists to explore, implement and exhibit digital tech art installations. Mediums such as projection mapping, live audio/visual performances, original experimental music, mixed media, sculpture, interactive installations are some of the exhibits, attendees could expect. Artist Call

We are looking for regional (Sacramento area) artists to submit proposed tech art themed installations.

Proposal information: We are looking for well conceived installations to be showcased at Light.wav. Installations can be existing projects. We are looking for projects such as VR, interactivity, projection mapping/visuals, short pre-rendered audio/visual performances, LED lighting, fine art mixed with digital, tech art themed murals, programmable machines, tech wearables, sculpture and more.
